CREATE Architecture Planning & Design has received the 'green light' to proceed with the proposed renovations to Magnolia Mall in Florence, South Carolina
New York, New York, August 15, 2002
Having completed design and construction documents for a new Bed Bath & Beyond and additional retail stores at the Commons at Magnolia a newly renovated power center anchored by Target and presently under construction in Florence, South Carolina the Mall Owner, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust of Philadelphia have once again awarded their latest Mall Renovation to CREATE.
The proposed renovations, which will include a new food court, the addition of a new Best Buy retail store and complete interior and exterior renovations are now in the construction document phase. The food court, affectionately called the 'Verandah Café' will be ready for bid in early September with the mall renovation drawings to follow shortly thereafter in the Fall of 2002.
CREATE's Principal, Frankie J. Campione, "We are truly privileged to have been selected by PREIT for the renovations to Magnolia Mall. Having completed three major mall renovations in just over three years for the same client is not only an honor but is a tribute to the combined strong work ethic and teamwork approach in all our efforts."
The Mall Renovation and Verandah Café takes its inspiration from today's latest retailing trends and has married them with a romantic interpretation of a Southern Plantation. The result will be a mall that blends hospitality with retail.
